Agrico UK Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Agrico Holland, a Dutch farmer cooperative of some 800 members producing in excess of 310,000 tonnes of seed potatoes per year. Agrico is a global company with offices in Poland, Canada, Italy and France, and extensive agency networks.

As Europe's leading potato breeder, Agrico set up agency agreements in the mid seventies to represent its extensive programme in the UK market.

Agrico products proved to be very popular and as a result Agrico UK Limited was established in 1980 to facilitate the increasing import of Dutch seed potatoes.

Continuing success in the UK and recognition of the ever changing global market requirements has led to a natural commitment to UK seed production.

Agrico place great importance on the need to work closely with growers and are guided by the Scottish Seed Potato Classification Scheme (SSPCS), DEFRA and 'Safe Haven' technical requirements for the production of seed crops.

Throughout the stages crop records are maintained within our systems which allow us to monitor quality and provide feedback to individual growers.

Complemented by a highly experienced and efficient administration team every effort is made to give maximum notice of dressing instructions to ensure consignments are delivered on time.

Knowledge acquired throughout the development and production process allows us to work in partnership with growers and customers alike by offering strong agronomic support, whilst assisting to develop future partnerships with key customers and markets.
