Are you a competent QA Manager looking for a challenge within a multi national, multi million pound food manufacturing business? As the QA Manager you will manage a team responsible for the quality assurance of raw materials and finished product, achieving timely testing and releasing so as to ensure continuity of product availability.
To identify, champion and drive continuous improvement in quality standards within the Technical department and across site, developing short-, medium- & long-term strategies, leading focused improvement teams in GMP and product quality.
The site operates in a highly competitive market with both own label and branded sectors. Communication of, and compliance to all legislative & ethical standards for food safety and agreed Company quality systems, product- & process-specifications are essential in maintaining quality standards, customer satisfaction and market share in the canned sector.
You must have experience with:
-An expert with up to date QMS
-Customer contact with major retailers
-Have worked with chilled and ambient products
-Have worked on a site with 100+ skus
-Experience of analytical/chemical labs
