Our client, a successful food manufacturer located in Wiltshire, is now looking to appoint a graduate trainee.
Purpose:
To support the general manager in the full range of responsibilities in running the site. To acquire generalist and specialist skills to support the company's succession plan. It is anticipated that the graduate trainee will spend approximately the first year of employment gaining an all round understanding of the business. This will involve spending time in different departments, through project work and shadowing with the ethos of continuous improvement at the heart of the trainee’s remit.

Distribution
Production Planning
Production Management
Finance
Procurement
New Product Development
Progress Chasing
The successful candidate must have a degree in an engineering or manufacturing related discipline.
Essential skills:
•a high level of computer literacy and in particular have an excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets, including formulas, pivot tables and statistical analysis.
•excellent communication skills providing written reports as required and to effectively liaise with departments, managers and customers.
•sound organisational skills and the ability to multi task
•the ability to manage self

The salary for this role is negotiable and is dependant on skills/experience.
