A market leading food manufacturer is seeking to add to their successful team with an ambitious and driven Production Manager/Assistant Operations Manager who has the ability to drive the business forward.
Reporting into the Operations Manager you will be responsible for managing the whole production environment from goods in all the way through to despatch meaning a logistical understanding would also be beneficial. Within this highly labour intensive environment you will be tasked with implementing critical KPIs whilst identifying and implementing Continuous Improvement through Lean Manufacturing techniques such as OEE, to deliver sustainable change.
Of Graduate calibre, you will already be an existing Production Manager within either a Food Manufacturing, with a proven track record in building successful and autonomous teams whilst having the ability to utilise your experience to drive down costs and improve efficiencies. You will also be a natural leader with a coaching and mentoring management style.
