Production Planner – Night Shift – Food Manufacturing – Lincolnshire - Salary to £26k pa + Benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to work for a market-leading food manufacturing business in Lincolnshire. Reporting to the Site Planning Manager, the role will involve working 4 on 4 off, 2000 hours to 0800 hours. The focus of this position will be on formulating daily production plans and constantly monitoring production throughput to ensure 100% service levels are achieved with major grocery customers. Accountabilities of this role will include: The formulation of a production plan that minimises downtime and contamination, The control of finished goods stock levels so as to minimise disposals, The formulation of accurate raw material figures for procurement, The processing of all customer orders, The re-forecasting of customer provisional orders based on current orders. All candidates applying for this role should meet the following criteria: 12 Months experience of working in a Planning department, Excellent numerical skills, Good written and verbal communication skills, Good IT skills with the ability to develop these further, Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Please note that the salary band for this role is £22k to £26k pa, and candidates will need to possess relevant planning experience to commence at the upper salary level. Ref 364
