My client, a leading UK food manufacturer, would like to appoint two Quality Auditors to join their team.
As a Quality Auditor you will:
? Report to the Shift Quality Manager.
? Liaise with a range of staff from production to technical.
? Work towards ensuring compliance with all Food Safety requirements through effective HACCP control and adhere to site quality procedures.
? Carry out hand swabbing on the production lines to ensure that micro targets are being met.
? Measure compliance to traceability legislation by checking for traceability information on line.
? Hold / reject / release stock as required.
? Raise GMP standards in production areas and ensure compliance to the relevant GMP standards.
? Update and issue quality standards.
? File all line and auditing documentation to ensure optimum storage and ease of retrieval of information to enable traceability.
? Conduct and ensure full attendance at scheduled taste panels for the Zone panel.
? Record Taste Panel results and carry out trend analysis.
? Following up audits.
? Attend daily and weekly meetings providing KPI information.
? Investigate all customer complaints.
The ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience;
? Auditing.
? Previous experience within the food manufacturing industry.
? Excellent communication skills; both written and oral.
? Flexible and willing to work shifts.
? A team player.
One of the QA roles has a 4 on 4 off shift pattern working 0600 to 1800. The other role is Monday to Friday 0830 to 1730.
Starting Salary - £16,500 to £18,500 depending on skills and experience. There is a clear progression path up to a salary of £22,000.
