Abattoir Foreman required as soon as possible for a fresh meat site dealing with beef products, Kill site processing 1000 cattle a week, also a retail packing plant.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient planning, slaughtering and dressing of cattle to meet company and customer standards.
Responsibilities include:
Slaughter and dress cattle
Ensure all legal requirements are carried out and maintained
Ensure product quality is delivered in all aspects
Plan daily production ensuring the effective and efficient running of the abattoir
Manage a small team of existing staff
Ad-hoc duties
The ideal candidate will come from a similar role within a similar environment and possess computer skills. You must also have good communication and leadership skills.
