After adding up a few big numbers and pressing the + button on the calculator rather a lot of times, our friends at Fruit Towers have worked out they need to source hundreds of thousands of tonnes of fresh fruit a year. Now that's a lot of fruit and in order to manage all the quality and development aspects of fruit procurement, we’re looking for some very special people to be part of their exceptional Technical team.
Specific responsibilities for this role include:
- Working closely with current fruit growers, importers and manufacturers to understand and review every step of the process, assessing risk and planning action points to improve standards.
- Ensuring the continuous supply of quality ingredients and working with Innocent suppliers and developers to ensure that all innocent products are produced safely and to agreed specifications.
- Define, generate and manage ingredient specifications for allocated innocent ingredients portfolio measuring performance against KPIs and ensuring due diligence.
