A fantastic opportunity has now arisen for a Packaging Innovations Manager to work within my clients purchasing team. You will be responsible for delivering next generation packaging solutions, to incorporate both customer’s identity requirements and my clients agenda.
The Packaging Innovations Manager will generate initial product concepts prior to customer presentation, research and present new product opportunities to the board, site management team and the customer. Key duties include ensuring the smooth transition of concept handover, conduct regular innovation sessions with the customer and the Commercial team, sourcing and implementing new and innovative packaging for the future. In addition the Packaging Innovations Manager will provide input and influence to the development of business transaction tools
To be successful in this role you will be a Packaging Professional who has already had at least 2 years experience in chilled food with major retail customers. You will have already had extensive experience of presenting concepts to customers and demonstrate a previous track record of packaging innovation.
Applicants should have the ability to negotiate and agree actions with suppliers and colleagues and demonstrate effective communication skills at all level. Proven experience of Packaging materials and Artwork within a manufacturing environment will be essential.
Working hours – Monday – Friday - rotating shifts - 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm.
