My client, a leading UK food manufacturer whose products receive numerous awards in the trade, would like to appoint two Electrical Engineers for their site in Dumfries and Galloway.
Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the roles will comprise of a '4 on, 4 off' shift pattern.
YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- Proven process experience within a production environment
- Electrically biased with sound electrical knowledge, including 16th Edition, IEE wiring,
- Base knowledge of PLC systems
IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
- City & Guilds in an electrical/mechanical, ONC, NVQ level 3
- A times served apprenticeship in an electrical or mechanical discipline
- Experience in Fault finding and proactive preventative maintenance
To be successful as Electrical Engineer, you will do planned preventative maintenance, assessing the production programme, and testing that all the equipment/machinery meet all product quality, cost and targets.
Consistently working within all necessary Health and Safety legislation, including environmental regulations
