OUR CLIENT is a manufacturer of a wide range of premium quality biscuits, producing retailer’s own labels, products under licence and various household brand names. The factory is highly automated and modern, having received significant capital investment in ‘state-of-the art’ plant and equipment over recent years. They are part of a national food manufacturing group with a success story of continued year-on-year growth, with recent site acquisitions and being part of the top 250 FTSE. This particular site has a turnover of approximately £45 Million and employs around 420 people.
THE ROLE will require you to assist in the delivery of a robust Health & Safety plan, through advice and coaching of site management in all aspects of Health & Safety, working towards the creation of a positive Health & Safety culture.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE will be able to demonstrate a high level of self motivation, conscientiousness and have the ability to work well under pressure. Excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, an understanding of a food manufacturing environment and a Health & Safety qualification and/or background will be required, together with a willingness to pursue further Health & Safety qualifications.
