Production is the core function of any Food manufacturing business! This is where all food stuffs are prepared, cooked, wrapped etc before being delivered to supermarkets, other manufacturers for further production or foodservice.
Examples of Jobs within Food Manufacturing Industry: Production Manager:The responsibilities of this role are to effectively lead a production team in various different food environments. As a Production Manager you will develop and motivate a large production team whilst implementing continuous improvement initiatives within the production area. You will have overall responsibility for the smooth running of production, Health & Safety and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Team Leader/Production Supervisor:Leading a food production area and managing a team. You will encourage the team to meet KPI’s and keep to strict targets whilst ensuring customer standards are met! Reporting into the Production Manager you will will ensure that food products are manufactured within allocated areas to quality standards at minimum cost under company codes of practice.
