Interim Jobs - Food Manufacturing & FMCG Industry

WHAT IS INTERIM MANAGEMENT?

In the Food Manufacturing Industry Interim Management is the answer to hundreds of Decision Makers across the country – people who have a desperate recruitment gap to but no one to fill it on a permanent job basis.

Which is good news for YOU and for US!

Interim Management is a growing sector of the Food & FMCG Industry market with many people turning from permanent jobs to a self employed basis which offers them variety and flexibility – most ‘interim candidates’ don’t work all year round and often take a well earned rest of a couple of months. Interim ensures the individual has flexibility to manage his or her own diaries and working patterns.

Interim Managers work on a self employed basis and provide resources to companies who have a need for additional temporary support. For example, filling a gap in the business until a permanent person is recruited for the interim job – someone may have unexpectedly left the company OR the company may have project, which requires some temporary, specialist resources.

The biggest needs in the Food Manufacturing & FMCG industry at present are New Product Development (NPD), Technical, Manufacturing/Operations and Production, although we also cover Engineering, HR, Commercial/Sales, Supply Chain and Purchasing/Buying.

How does Interim Management Recruitment work?

Interim Managers usually work at a level below their last permanent position so they can really make an impact on the company with little induction and no honeymoon period.

Interim Managers:

· Are Flexible with Location
· Available Immediately
· Self Employed
· Charge a daily rate and cover their own tax and NI
· Have a proven track record within their function
· Can provide references for previous assignments
· Are Keen, Motivated and Enthusiastic

Candidates should be well motivated, organised and have reached a senior position within their function (although, roles often require the individual to operate at a level below so it is essential candidates are flexible with positions).

Daily rates vary depending on the project, level and duration and usually include expenses. Assignments can take candidates around the country and occasionally overseas therefore flexibility with regards staying away during the week is paramount.
